Carbon fiber / graphite instruments that aren't grody?

Now, I know that's a bit of a loaded statement - we don't all share the same ideas about what looks grody, and what looks gnarly. Or even if grody and gnarly are still acceptable terms in this day and age. But for the most part, here are my standards (skewed towards bass, since that's my cuppa tea):

Ric 4001: gnarly awesomesauce
Fender Jazz: hellz yes
Offset jazzmastery jaguar-y stuff: most definitely yes
Gibson SG: yeah man. Hell yeah.
Harvester-style funky italo/futuristic jazz: OMFG YES!
Ovation Breadwinner: DON'T LAUGH. THAT'S A YES.
Gibson Grabber: you'd best believe it!

Telecaster bodies: I can respect that, but not for me. I CAN'T EXPLAIN WHY!
Excessively rounded / blobby basses, a la most Warwicks, and "coffee table" basses: no thanks.

SO... does anybody know of companies large or small that build along those lines? Are there custom fabricators who would work that kind of thing up for not a crazy amount of money (crazy being, of course, even more relative than my aesthetic standards)? HELP A BROTHA OUT WITH GAS!

Modulus has always made a J.
Gus guitars make some interesting things...
Moses's designs don't click with me although their neck are cool...
really though you have watch out for some of the smaller builders because all they do is wrap "normal" guitars in carbon fiber... like a parker fly... but without the innovation...

Just get a Steinberger and pretend it's the Eighties (like you know you wanna).

Yeah, I remembered Modulus moments after posting. I will have to investigate Gus. Status makes 'em too, but I wasn't totally loving their thing. The "vintage" line is close, but they have these annoying up sweeping pickguards.

I haven't seen the word "grody" in a long time until this thread.

Sadly, that's all I can offer here.
