Yeah I streamed that when they put it up last night (or the night before).
I like it, but what makes the original so classic is the mix, and this one doesn't seem to have "it" yet--holding off judgement 'til the final release though.

Some new Deltron stuff? I remember being into it but not as much as Dr. Octagon.

Aaaaargh why is it removed I must hear this!
I freaking love the first album and I never get into hip-hop music (except for Hymie's Basement and Milo)

I love Deltron (and Del tha Funkee Homosapien). Dude rules. His voice is so unique, his flow is great, and he actually writes fairly good lyrics.

Dr. Octagon. Fuck yeah. Kool Keith is a genius. I recently received Dr. Dooom's "First Come First Served" on vinyl. It sounds so good.

If you like Dr. Octagon, check out Kool Keith's other records (first one that comes to mind is Black Elvis: Lost In Space).

Word on the (internet)streets is that Keith had zero to do with the Return record.

i'd heard it was him tossing away tracks he didn't like since he had to do one more release to get out of a contract...

The thing that made the first Octagon and the Deltron album great was Dan the Automator. If he's involved in the new Deltron thing, it's definitely worth checking out.
And a moment with Google says that he's producing. Good stuff.

It's all three of them--Del, Dan, and Kid Koala.

Am excited for the new Deltron, absolutely. I don't listen to a TON of hip-hop, but more than enough to get pumped for this album.

Black Elvis was the last solid Keith disc.
Deltron... let's say I have a limited appetite for the sound of his voice. Those hard California "r"s...
He's a smart dude, and persistent. I just don't "feel" him like Oct/Keith.
Dan The Automator is a wizard. Prince Paul is a muthafuck GENIUS. Keith is a savant, but he lost his groove when he started making his own albums.
