+1000000

It's where i bought my first TAFM :!!!:

Also, BIG plus for 30th Street Guitars. LOTS of vintage and rare shit, their pedal display cases are always changing.

You can also take the LIRR out to New Hyde Park and visit Pedalgeek.

Main Drag & Ludlow are my favorites, and they both stock DBA I believe. The DBA space is actually right around the corner from Main Drag. Umanov is cool too, moreso for guitars than pedals though. Southside in Williamsburg is cool too, but expensive. Retrofret in Cobble Hill also looks to have an insane array of guitars. Not sure if they have any effects though. And NYC Craigslist is always full of dreamy stuff. Happy hunting!

Main Drag Music for sure. Great stuff and the staff is really rad. And they definitely carry DBA stuff. It's worth a look

30th guitars. Such a nice atmosphere there. Worth a visit, regardless of Pedals.

Kosta pretty much nailed it here, Main Drag is fun, Ludlow is usually awesome (minus a few employees). If you have a penchant for checking out old Nationals and Martins Umanov is cool. 30th st is cool too to wander around in a bit.

Manny's is gone, Sam Ash bought them and now will be moving. 48th St won't be what it used to be...just Rudy's where people don't really want to talk to you.

Ludlow is my favorite for new stuffs, followed by 30th Street.

The best used deals I've ever found are at Rogue Music Store.

Avoid Rivington Guitars; general bad service and their selections isn't very good. They have some great vintage guitars sometimes, though.

Another option is to take the train out to Jersey and visit Prymaxe. Best part about it.... nobody is ever in there since almost all their business is ebay and web.
