I know it's a depressing topic, haha.

What are some bands you missed out on seeing in 2012 because of work etc..?

right off the bat, OM and Daniel Higgs come to mind for me... as well as Dino JR. and Neil Young. Maaaaaaaaaan.

MAN! Eagle Twin and Earth! That sucks big time that they ended up on the same day as your plans!

And to make matters worse, it was to see a female standup comedian that I couldn't give a shit about...but that's all my wife wanted :grumpy:

Truckfighters, Dan Mangan (although I saw him later in the year so it was cool), Feist, Deerhoof

Those are the ones I knew about but couldn't go to, there's probably more I don't even know I missed!

I went to the DFA show in Hamilton... Was awesome. They played about 6 new songs. I seen them in 2011 at the sound academy in Toronto too! Amazing shows.

Given that they have new songs, I'd say you'll have another chance to see em'! The whole tour they did in Canada recently was to try out their new songs in a "live setting." They said.

Tons of 'em.

I missed Torche in Providence in order to see Red Fang in Cambridge. So wish I could have been in two places at once.

Sunn O)))
Ty Segall
Melvins
Death Grips
Wilco
Grizzly Bear

I did get to see Dam Funk and the original Dino Jr lineup, though, so I don't feel like I missed out completely.

Dan Deacon, Freefest 2012, I don't know. Not much came by here this year, really.

Quicksand.

A mistake I made sure to remedy as I'm seeing them end of this month.
