I am a big fan of etched enclosures. A solid clean etch is hard to beat!

Here are a few of mine to ge to the ball rolling.

Here's a couple custom BAT enclosures I have being built currently. Etching was done by ILF user DannDubbleEwe. He's good!

Nice! Ultraviolence!

I checked those out. Great stuff! I didn't want to 'intrude' on that thread though. ;)

Love the etching. Ruz Guitar Gear pretty much was my inspiration for starting to etch. He is amazing.

Just notice the second. I have a few Nazgul boxes etched up too.

Just started getting into this myself. These first couple were just learning the feel of things, I didn;t lay anything out for knobs or footswitches. My next round definitely will.

I have to work on my clean lines a bit so i can try text next. That's my next goal.

^ That's badass! I'm def having some color added on the next go around.

And Laowiz makes some of the coolest shit, has that DBA vibe going on which I love.

I really like the Frankenstein one, saw that on the DR earlier. Off to a good start for sure. :thumb:

here's some I've done

You'll be seeing a LOT from me this coming up year. Can't say too much yet, but I'm now teamed up with two builders and my man Excane.

Special thanks to Holy Schnikes for one of those hook ups! I owe you big dude!

Thanks. I found the font (called Zephyr), and that reminded me of the train of the same name that I had seen at a museum in a tiny town in northern Illinois. That inspired the lines. No paint on that one-- the black is just aluminum. It's a Rebote.

But, you know how it is. I look at it and I see nothing but flaws. The lines between the switch and the LED are not aligned how I wanted them. The etch was too deep on the top half. I lost the dots in the middle of the As, and the lines between the knobs are much deeper than I wanted.

I am my worst critic. It's never good enough.
