EFE Black Acid

If i recall it correctly, skully and chank wanted to know my impressions. So here are my thoughts:
It has three knobs, gain, fuzz and volume, and can get pretty versatile with these. The gain knob is a kind of bass pronouncing distortion while the fuzz knob brings the more upper mids and treble fuzzy sizzle. So with these two you can dial in more trebly stuff or doomy sounds. To me it is a kind of instant stoner sound that is on a very high quality niveau. I really love that sound. It nails it like i always had that sound in my mind. I'm impressed that i have a new pedal that sounds so damn good - didn't thought that something will impress me in kind of fuzz anymore - but lesson learned
. It really has some kind of three dimensional thing going on with the bass and upper mids fuzz and distortion sounds. I already had three song ideas with it within the last week. Always a good sign to me. Right now no thoughts on how it fits in a band context. I have no rehearsals until end of january due to our drummer hanging out 4 weeks in vietnam for vacation...
Here is a short file with the Black Acid with my Jazzmaster into the divided. Left channel is 6V6 with a more doomy sound (gain up, fuzz a bit lower), right channel is EL84 with both, gain and fuzz, dimed.
