Announcing Iron Chef: ILF Edition

Ok, so I got bored. And I decided to start something new here.
Here's how it's going to work: I want you all to record a cover song and post it. Sounds simple? There's a twist!
I'll be taking on the role of The Chairman:

Like in Iron Chef,
there will be a secret ingredient, which will be a type of effect.
I will announce the song to cover and the secret ingredient on the first of January, and you will have until January 31st to record and post your cover. You're allowed to use whatever you want to make the song, as long as you post some sort of audio file or youtube video at the end of the month, it'll be in.
Then, we'll put up a poll, because ILFites are all good celebrity food judges:

And we'll talk about how cool everyone's song is!
I think this is going to be awesome.

I should put more thoughts but not restrict people: basically, be creative. re-interpret it however you want, or cut up the drums and make it a hip hop song, or remake it as chiptunes, I don't know. I just want to help get more people recording, and the constraints (cover a song and use a particular type of effect) seem like neat constraints. Sometimes we're more creative under constraints, or we're able to focus more on the other parts.
Also, I think getting one song recorded in January is going to be a good test run of recording rigs for people that want to do the RPM Challenge this year.

Anyone out there with a headset and Google+ (or Skype) that is ok with being on camera and hamming it up a bit? Also, have to be available over the next few days. If so, DM me!
Edit: Also, how about we call this Iron Fuzz? I don't want to call it Iron Guitarist and leave the bass and other instruments out. Or a runner-up for the name was "Most Extreme Fuzz Challenge!"
