Clean blend knob

Hi everyone, I am having trouble trying to figure out how to wire a clean blend knob with my effect. I just want to add the dry guitar signal into the effect with a pot, is there a diagram or can someone know? thanks so much!

There is actually a buffer involved, it's a little more complicated than just adding a knob.

OK awesome, what does the blend 1 and return mean? the lugs on the pot?

Blend 1 mean lug one of the Blend 500kB Pot
According to Marks site "The send daisy chains from the input and then the returns comes back to Blend 3. Then when you rotate the Blend pot you're blending between the dry buffered and effected signal."

Nice find.. I'll have to stock back up on TL072's. I will defiantly give this one a try.

Hi guys, I finally had a chance to try this out but can't seem to get the configuration right

would anyone happen to have a detailed drawing with everything connected include the pot? I feel dumb asking this lol thank you so much

don't forget to check your effect to see if it has an output that is 180 out of phase with the input. this is totally fine as long as your clean buffer has an output that is also 180 out of phase with the input. they must match! any transistor effect flips the phase 180 with each transistor as long as the output of the transistor is tapped from the collector.


some effects do not work well with the changes in impedance that can result from having your two inputs tied together. changes in total load can affect what ever is driving it. two inputs with one of them very very low impedance will suck all your volume.
