Not sure if this would count but the Second voice would be my choice
maybe not straight up but it is a monster
blue box and OC-3 do some great things as well

I love the v2 Second Voice.
Otherwise the Octasynth pre-fuzz sounds sick.

Perseus tracks not as good as The Second Voice.
The -2 is often too much.
Also have a Look at The EQD bit Commander.
I would recommend The Second Voice.

I like the Perseus I got. It's exceeded my expectations. It may not track perfectly, but it tracks well enough for me.

Octave down is always in my setup. I currently have an MXR Blue Box, a Second Voice, and an Octron + Fuzz (Baby Thundaa) for my octave down needs. The Octron + Thundaa is on my main board and is my current fave because you can blend the octave down with octave up and pair it with the fuzz of your choice. As a stand-alone pedal, the Second Voice wins out over the other pedals I have tried (haven't tried the Perseus yet and I really want a Subdecay Octosynth), but nothing I've used sounds quite like the Blue Box. I use the Blue Box on synth and it really shines. One thing to consider to get the most out of octave down is to put a compressor/sustainer before the octave. Putting a DOD Milkbox before the Second Voice was like night and day.
