I feel like if you called in and complained and shouted and made a big deal, you could get it for that price!! just be persistent and vaguely a psychopath! Demand it. Make up an interesting story!

I know, if I'd gotten that to happen was gonna tell all you ILFers to get on the phone! dude had to check w/ his boss & they shot it down, said the lowest they'd go was 15% off which was bullshit since I coulda done that w/ the coupon code anyway.

In most states, the business is not legally obligated to honor an advertised price. Most states follow the UCC, which treats advertisements as not creating a contract offer; instead, advertisements are merely an "invitation to treat". The only time the business can get into trouble is if you can establish a pattern of deceptive pricing in advertisements, which would be considered a "bait and switch" tactic.
All of that bullshit aside, most businesses honor it anyways, just to prevent bad press. I'm surprised they didn't.

It says 87 (MSRP 116.00) in my magazine of musicians friend as well
I'd say that's quite the typo
The product number in mine is H84536
