Innnnnteresting. So is this your primary input for recording guitar directly? Have you tried it on bass? I've been using an old Pod for a long time, and am kind of getting sick of it. The initial thrill was the thought of having all of the amp sims, but having used it for a while, I've found that I only use two or three with any regularity, and I could probably get the variations I'm looking for simply with judicious use of EQ.

Seems like everyone has a unique pedal they use for recording guitar straight.
I just use the DS-1, what a clown, hah.

Yah, I guess I'll just have to do a bit more research. There's a perfect recording tool for me out there somwhere...
