Remixing Pavement with auto-tune

I've always wanted to like Pavement but could never stand Stephen Malkmus's voice.
i get that it's supposed to be lazy - but delivering lazy off pitch vocals always really annoys my ears and makes it completely unlistenable.
i wish they would remix the songs and autotune his vocals.
blasphemy i know, but whatever.

the worst part about pavement is the cult of pavement.
But the first side of Wowie Zowie is really fantastic.

I like Pavement. Autotuned pavement would be silly... so... yeah, i'd like to hear that.

My gf hates his voice too. However, I love Pavement. Terror Twilight is one of my favorite records. His voice doesn't bother me.

Terror Twilight was one I couldn't get into. Too mellow.

I agree it is on their mellow side, however, Speak, See, Remember has one of my favorite fuzz tones.

I've never really taken a close lookat pavement, I downloaded an album of theirs and wasn't too into it.
But the song in the OP I like a lot. I don't think it is lazy at all.
