´79 Marshall JMP 1959 or 80´s JCM 800 2203?
Both are the same price, cant test them.
I know i like 2203s, havnt tried a 1959 but i do like my Sound City 120 and its also a no master volume amp.

I want a loud amp to scare the shit out of with fuzz.

If you preferred the low input on 2203's with fuzz, go with the 1959. If no one has gone mod crazy, the high input can clean up pretty well to the guitar volume, but gain staging to pedals can be pretty tricky.

Go with the JMP 59. Headroom that will rape small (and medium sized) animals. Throw a good fuzz or distortion in front of it and it will destroy.
