I've tried both ways myself; I'm curious what other people think.

I like it before delay personally, but I'll still use it after sometimes if I want stereo delay and trem (my delay has stereo outs but mono in).

i like it more after, but i have it sandwich'ed in 2 delays (dd5-polypus-digidelay). After it kinda sits more in the mix more smooth (you dont have to be that tight to keep it nice, if you use the level past 55% and lots of repeats on the delay), before if both are synced (x2/x3 square wave into a x1 delay, it's pure gold)

I like it at the very end, so it cuts everything. More choppy.

Depends what you are after I guess.

yeah, I'm asking just to get some ideas about how different people do it. I don't really believe in "the one way" for anything related to music.

Thanks for the ideas so far!

Keep posting how you use tremololols!

I put my tremolessence early in the chain
Crank the level and throw an overdrive and delay after it
Works for me

i like tremolo after delay. i use the squarewave setting to chop the delay repeats to make them synthier. i've used trem before delay and it can be fun there, too, but it's a lot harder to sync the two rates when the chop happens before the repeat.

Both simultaneously. Fun.

The real question is, however, tremolo before or after fuzz?

If it's a dynamic fuzz it could be cool before to change the texture as the volume swells, but after is nice for a more clean cut sound.

I've realized that you basically need two of your favorite modulation for a delicious pedal sammich.

Pedal Trem before and Amp Trem after?

Tremolo after to chop up the whole delayed mess hitting the input. Use a trem with stereo outs for tasty results. If you delay the trem and don't care abut it synching in time with anything you're playing that can also produce interesting results. Experimentation is the key.

I love using the Goatkeeper after delay and reverb with ramped waveforms to get all kinds of weird reverse sounds and that kind of thing. Sounds awesome before too for more conventional applications. And I almost always run it after my fuzz, Chankgeez. I like the fuzz up front the best to keep it close to the guitar's picking and volume dynamics if I can.
