I am looking to get a smaller wattage amp then my 120watt Kustom. Has anyone played one? Does it take well to pedals and generally is it a good amp? I have found them used for around $300 but I dont really know much about them other than rather lame reviews.

Only decent thing they've done in awhile in my opinion. I find myself loving crate since it was what I had forever, however, it's shite mostly but the entire palomino series has what every bit they've put out should have.

I don't know much about the Palomino but in that same price/wattage range you should also check out the Peavey Classic 30.

The classic 30 does sound good in clips and there arnt really any good Palomino ones out there. Probs after the holiday I will pick up which ever on is cheaper. The Peavey is designed by James Brown who designed the Kustom I have so there is that selling point.

I had one of their V50 tube amps. It wasn't bad, but I was happy to move on to a fender. For the price though, not bad.
