Oh, you're a funny man.
(What's even more annoying is that I couldn't grab that as a group shot. I had to transfer those photos individually.)
Yeah, those pedals aren't gonna win any prizes for the way they look, but hopefully they'll deliver sonically.
(Oh, and they got stupid names too.)

They definitely have that Mesa "look"
Stupid names aside, I've never known them to deliver anything short of awesome. I'd be really surprised if they didn't sound great.
Kinda curious why they didn't make a full 3 band EQ distortion. Seems like it would be a no-brainer for a Recto box

Yeah, they look consistent with Mesa's entire aesthetic. So, nothing surprising there.
I think all amp companies that start building pedals are required to make 'em look conservative.
A 3 band EQ distortion would've made sense though.

Finally, Limp Bizkit tone in a smaller and somehow less attractive package.

Didn't they make that tube disto? The Bottle Rocket?

Yep, and the V Twin as well. Good shit.
This looks like it appeals more to the "pedal" crowd as opposed to the "dropping mucho scratch on a tube-pre in pedal format"

IIRC, the V-Twin wasn't really doing much with the tubes at all other than making it look cool.
I still love that pedal though, I found it for 99 bucks in a pawn shop and flipped it for 350. I used that 350 to buy my first set of pedals and start the addiction. For that I'm ever thankful to them!

True.
Instead of giving those pedals those names Mesa should have just put a photo of my ass on each pedal. Would have been classier.

I will stand behind this statement and blindly place faith in it's accuracy.
On a serious note, it's about time more amp companies got into the Cbread amp-in-a-box game considering they actually designed the amp circuit to begin with. Recent success and hype around the overpriced Bogner pedals ensures it's only a matter of time until every company hops onboard and TGP's collective head explodes.
