The music store I shop at is closed. Now if I don't want to buy gear from a shop owned by meth addicts I have to go to Tucson or buy stuff online. Gone are the days of messing with all the new toys as soon as they're in, stomping on random pedals to discover how to make a guitar sound like a chicken clucking. No more can I just drop by and ask Nathan the clerk what he thinks of this cable or that pedal, discussing the intricacies of strings go best with the slap sound I'm trying to find. Woe be this day, all weep for Periwinkle Music.

That sucks hardcore. I remember when my favorite local music shop closed down. It was sad times. They specialized in trash guitars and answering nutty questions with a smile. Thankfully, B Sharp Music opened a couple of years later and filled the void in my life. It's never a good thing when a local music shop, record store or club shut down.

My local music store pretty much carries Ibanez, Peavey, and digitech.
That's why when I refer to my local store, I refer to one in another town.
