Blackbox (pre-Ooh La La) Inferno

Anyone got to try these? A local deal on one of these just popped up and wanted to get some input before setting my mind.
It's a germanium fuzz- handpainted like all the other blackbox pedals... I guess it's (almost?) identical to the Ooh La La inferno fuzz, so input on that one would be great also! :)

Thanks,
Jonathan

EDIT: Forgot to ask, anyone knows how does it work with bass? Low end suckage?

I know this is really old, but I was just playing one of these at a local store myself. So, though it may not be helpful anymore, I thought it was a pretty cool little pedal. I went in to the store looking to trade in my Mastotron for something more fuzz-face like. This was probably my favorite pedal I tried out that day, it's got a really warm and growling sound to it, but you're kind of limited on sound options, it was hard to figure out just what the controls were really doing and I could really only get a few variations of essentially the same sound, just in varying degrees of intensity, which is essentially why I passed on it. The sustain leaves something to be desired I would say, but I tried it with a guitar and a bass and it worked great with each. Great low end all around.

Like I said, this is probably far too late, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
