I got really baked, recorded "bass" loops on my guitar with my neck pick up, listened to them through earphones while recording drums, then put a guitar track over them.I did it all with 1 mic and 3 tracks on my tascam 4 track.I finished it all in 3 hours then put it up on band camp. Let me know what you guys think.
http://infinitelandscapes.bandcamp.com/Lots of wrong notes and loose drumming, but it was all for fun.

I like it. A lot.
Reminds me a lot of pre-meltdown Black Pyramid (that is to say, you know, there's not a whole lot you can do with this kind of music). The lead playing is saucy, the drums are loose, and you've already admitted there's no bass, so I can live with the faux six-string fakery.
But you can't throw this up and not hit us up with the gear rundown, bro.

Thanks man. I'm in the process of getting a band together to play this kind of stuff but with more changes etc. the rig was a modern player tele into a fox tone machine clone, make sounds loudly disaster transport clone to a super hard on clone to a jam man looper into a fender frontman 2 12" combo into a rascal 4 track. I used my pearl export drum set.

I'm just getting around to listening to this now.
Sounds pretty nice. A bit meandering, but, hey, you were really baked.

Is it the least bit odd that I like the production? Good and loose. I like the imperfections. Gives it authenticity and character.

To keep commenting on the production side of things, the drums have a really cool feel about them, the cymbals just trashy enough, and all around, right up my alley.
Also really liking what you did do with the "bass" looping with what you had available.
Haven't posted much yet, but this made me stop lurking for a bit, downloaded and rockin out today with it.
