Brand new Jackson RR3 $500 shipped. I've decided I've been a single coil whore long enough, time to get the shred out.
I'm a sucker for pointy guitars.

I'm the exact opposite, I'm a sucker for curvey ones. especially those double cut les pauls with the cool pickguards.
but none the less that guitar looks pretty evil.

Humbuckers rule!!!!!!!!
I love 'V's and explorer types, and grew up playing a V. Trouble was, they're real difficult to play sitting down lol. I have a bit of a downer on pointy guitars due to this now.

I'm more of an explorer guy, but I wasn't looking to throw down $1200 just yet, and I haven't heard enough about the Epiphone explorer, and the ESP copy comes with active EMG's (though the 81/60 combo is nice instead of he overdone 81/85.)

Wugg...guitar arrived today, its one of the older ones with duncan designed detonators
Sending it back...gunna see if he'll send me one with the correct pickups.
