Millions of Dead Cops

I got the S/T album from my friend a couple of weeks ago,
great album,tunes are really catchy,and well written.
The lyrics are extremely political and reflect the hardcore scene
around late 70s early 80s pretty well.
I recommend that you guys pick this one up if you dont have it
its a classic in my book!

They came through here last year, with Leftover Crack and Krush Klamath and were fucking great.

fuck yeah! MDC gettin some exposure here! the song "john wayne was a nazi" is what got me hooked on these guys. second best political band only to the Dead Kennedys!

I have no desire to listen to that band, purely because of their name. It just puts me off.

It's hardcore punk. The point was to put you off.
Maybe you prefer "Millions of Dead Christians"?
(as they were sometimes known)

my age is showing....i bought their debut album new and still have it.
it is a classic of sorts. they took on homophobic issues through punk rock. the old political type of punk thingie that was a big deal at the time (to some of us anyway) the intitials stood for different things throughout the years...multi death corp, millions of dead children, millions of dead christians..and others that i can't seem to remember.
i feel old.

elwood,I'm with you. I use to squat back in the late 80's/early 90's and rocked a mdc patch on my jacket for years right next to my zippy punx love corndogs patch.

Best is a slippery fucking slope. I love Crass, but
on record they're trumped by both DK and MDC.
Which I've always used as Millions of Dirty Crusties.
