1. Does anyone have the Morley ABY switch pedal? Thoughts?
2. Is there an effect pedal that works the same way as the "Hold" function on Boss delay pedals?
3. Mid-Fi Glitch Computer. Thoughts?
Thanks!

I don't have the Morley, but I do have an ABY switch.
It works very well switching between different amps, different channels or different effects chains. It can be run backwards so you can switch guitars or basses without fooling around plugging and unplugging.
The Morley doesn't cost that much and is worth having.
I can't answer the other 2 questions.

The Digitech PDS 20/20 (MultiPlay) can do for you what you ask in 2.
At least I think that's true.

Sorry for the late entry, but I gotta throw in my $.02. IMNSHO, the only ABY I've found worth having is the Whirlwind Selector.
Why? Well, I do a lot of Live Looping. If the AB switch has *any* noticeable noise or if it pops when engaged, then that's going to get recorded into the loop and cycle back through again...and again...and again... ad infinitum.
Thus, I had to look around for an ABY that was 100% silent, 100% of the time. The only one I've found to fit this requirement (so far) is the Whirlwind.smile_man wrote:2. Is there an effect pedal that works the same way as the "Hold" function on Boss delay pedals?
Judging from the little bit of information here, I think you may be looking for a Looper. And there are scads of them out there, depending upon your requirements.
If that's what you're asking about, start here: Looper's Delight. Let us know if you've got any follow-ups.

I have a Digitech Digidelay, so I'm familiar with loopers, but I want to be able to change the pitch of the sample being played, as you can do with the "Hold" function on a DD-(x). I was wondering if any pedal did that specifically, sorry about the lack of info!

I have the Electro Harmonix Switch Blade ABY it's very cool, you can use it traditionally guitar->ABY->amp one or like this Guitar->ABY->amp, it's also passive, and $40
->amp two Guitar->
I was use it to switch from my pedal board to the front of my amp, but if wanted to do a Geddy Lee tribute you could switch from bass to keyboards and go through one amp!

My guitarist uses a Morley ABY pedal to help switch between acoustic and electric guitars during a show. It's a no frills, does exactly what it says it does, pedal. I personally prefer my Bassbone, only because I have separate volume controls and some other tonal options when switching between electric and upright basses. That is the only complaint you may find when using the Morley; you have to do a little more tweaking to get the volumes to match.

Well...as long as this thread's here.
I have also been wondering if there's an effect like the "hold" function. What I always desired was this:

Look at 2:18 on. The Hold on a DD-3 or DD-6 doesn't repeat that fast...I don't know how he does it.
