NPD - Almost kissed the postman!

I only played them a little until now.
First nice combo was Poly into 4096, Poly in detune mode with four voices in kind of an organ / pog sound riding the volume knob on my guitar for swells into the 4096 in infinite mode with the feedback & time up high for ambient organ sounds.
Second finding was Poly set for vibrato (modulation mode, speed pretty high, clean voice off) into a very short delay in normal mode on the 4096. Echo pretty high in the mix, so that the poly set off some weird ass harmonics and strange interactions.
I might record some shit later on. Now I think I need to eat something. Didn't get to it yet.

As a former 4096 owner, I recommend you spend time with the knobs all over the place, as there are some really awesome configurations you wouldn't think of, e.g. the Delay and Echo knobs almost all the way down, then hit the Expand switch and hold it, and you can create this haze behind your playing that sounds killer. Also, experiment with the two outputs and the wet/dry switch if you can. There is alot of fun to be had with that pedal!

Yes, please, I'd like to hear what you do with that delay.

You're not making me want this pedal any less.

Yeah as I typed that I was wondering, "hmm, why did I get rid of this again?" And then I remembered, it's because I am obviously mentally ill.

I should have kicked the postman's ass instead!
Apparently the expand button is fucked on the AD4096.

have you opened the box and see something physically damaged like a desoldered wire or a cold solder joint?

Oh, that is a pity! But those pedals are killer for the rest! Hope that problem will sort out!

Yup, nothing to be seen. Do these momentary switches have a noticeable or audible click? My guess is that it's the switch that doesn't work.

momentary does not have any click afaik. perhaps you are right....dead switch. warranty? or maybe it is easier just to change it yourself if you are skilled to do so.

Skilled enough for that, yea. It would REALLY suck to send this back to the states for warranty repair after more than a month of waiting.
