Saying something like:
Hi guys. Welcome here in my tone lab.
I hope you had a great time with my brother Ben on the bass.
But hey, let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

I'm just going to keep the transcript of what he says around for any time I get interviewed by Premier Guitar magazine in the future.

I think you're confusing him with some other not quite as awesome foreign language speaking guitarist.

bitches about brasil
shows the other dude a guitar - built especially for him
20y ahead of what you get even now - whole thing is gold plated on the inside against buzzing
the crack is from playing filmore, he just let it fall but played the show anyway
realized that guitar is too precious to be lugging it about, "developed" the other one
tried to go a step further with that blonde one, his brother helped, he's an electrician (brother's name is Claudio)
-
he had to move to the us, because otherwise he could not have run the mutantes - they played 32 shows in a little more than 20 days - 24.000km
playing new york, miami, los angeles is alright.
But they played lawrence near kansas, "if you open the map, dude there was nothing, it was like there in the middle"
still the venue was full, everybody loved it
Singapore was filled with chinese, there was o brasilian in the audience but they still loved it
they played new and old stuff on this tour (me speaking: wait? what tour?)
bitches how much work it was since they started working with os mutantes again (since 2005, he says)
then he wanted to relax in henderson (?), where he lives but got lots of diseases
then he decided better to get back to work because apparently it would be a disaster to relax
That about sums it up. Seems at the same time like a really nice and pretty mopey dude.

I think your comment just about nails it.
Thanks, phantasmagorovich.
Yeah, his brother, Claudio, did all their electronics work.
I was really just wondering about his guitar. Love that thing.

Always tempted to get a Mutantes Fuzz when they pop up in the Third Party Direct forum on the DAM board...

Um ... you totally should ... I think you'd love it.
One of my favorite fuzz circuits.

I imagine I would. Kinda like a tropical twist on a Fuzzrite or thereabouts, yeah?

I don't think it really gets quite as blown out as a Fuzzrite, but it does get pretty raunchy.
I think it's a more versatile circuit than a Fuzzrite. It gets close to Fuzzrite territory, but it can also do less raunchier stuff really well.
