Anybody using a velcroar?

I'm thinking of getting a velcroar. I want a dirt that's kind of haggard and busted sounding, but has decent clarity. The only thing holding me back is, from demos that I've watched, it sounds like it's voiced kind of bright. I"m afraid that it might be too much treble with a tele. Anyways, post your thoughts or other pedals that I might want to check out....

Meeeehhhhhhh, clarity is kinda rough on the velcroar. By itself, I find it lacks a lot of mids. But if you run it into a boost or a Fuck it really pushes through without losing the fuzziness.

I haven't found the Velcroar to be overly trebly. i also find that it cleans up, in relative terms, into a Tone Bender-y kind of sound as you turn the "ROAR" knob to the right. i particularly like it in its current spot on the board after everything else including reverb...its Neil-Young-turned-to-eleven quality is great for mangling my signal into Rust Never Sleeps territory.

Velcroar has always looked cool to me

supposedly very similar to the wolf computer in sound. But the wolfy is all about the mids and can have a lot of clarity depending on how you have the sag knob set.

Had one, flipped it, it is a bit on the treble-y side. It stacks well with heavier fuzz but was just ok on it's own.

Velcroar is really cool. On chords it's got an explosiony kind of sound, and with single notes it has a very unique kind of sound which is sort of hard to explain. I don't hear it being too trebley at least for my tastes.

It's awesome and sticky like the floors of a movie theater. The 'clarity' comes in with roar turning. I don't think it's on the bright side. EQ is everything. Chords sound great on it and the jet city demo is probably the best demo of it ever. Makes me want one moreā¦and I have one.

I really like my Veldroar Osc a lot... As above I don't find it bright unless I want it to be... It really nails Garage tones and the ripping Fuzz associated with that kind of rawk, hence the name...
