Sorry if this isnt a kosher area, or even a topic for the ILF forum (please delete if it isn't, no offense will be taken) but my band is getting to the point where we desperately need a bass player.
We are in Phoenix and play some dirty blown-out pop/gaze music. Got a practice space already, and have 2 guitarist and a drummer. We would love someone to play synth for the bass parts but a bass player would be excellent as well. PM or respond if interested. Being able to sing would be a plus. Again, please delete is this isnt the place for posts like this.

No takers? Man, if I lived anywhere close to you, I'd hop on that stuff in a minute. Sadly, it would be a bit too long of a commute from New England...

Do you have any recorded stuff up on the Interwebz that people could use as a point of reference? Or just, you know, listen to or purchase?

Thanks man! We still need to work out some beer trading, I've been a little MIA from the board lately.
No takers yet and no real recordings. I have some guitar sketches of the songs if anyone is interested. I'll try to do a crappy phone recording next practice. But...it's a really loud band so far.

Awesome! PM me whenever you want to do a little beer trading. And I'm definitely down to hear whatever you've got going for the band. Crappy phone recordings of really loud stuff can be dicey, but I'm often surprised by the quality people can coax out of those things.
