I'm using my Yamaha DG-Stomp to get that sound:
(drive + phaser + delay driectly to soundcard)

Which phaser pedal would sound similar for my amp setup?
My Faye Sing is great... but not for that sound.

Sounds neat.

I don't really know (and may be talking out my ass here), but would the Quasar DLX do something like this?

MXR Phase 100 might do it... It has multiple Waveforms which I know you love...

it does indeed

and a Quasar DLX might come close :) BUT i'd rather try a high stage no. phaser like Moog, Boss PH-2 etc, something 12 staged perhaps, feedback knob veeeery high...

get a boss ph-2, it can get really resonant and deep sweep, and switchable between 10/12 stages

Maybe that new one by Blackout Effectors "Sibling Phaser" ?
The phaser section of the DG-Stomp only has two knobs: speed and depth.

i expect the Sibling to be more Small Stone styled with a feedback knob added... this sounds more modern to me, hence the "more stages" recommendation :)

... and I bet if it doesn't do what you want, you could probably mod it to get it to do what you want.

The PH-3 is at least one better than the PH-2
I know you can make the sounds you require, plus murder peoples faces.

To get that sound, you're gonna need something with a decent amount of tweakability.

I'd go with the Quasar DLX.

But the one I was using for that recording is only a 2 knobs phaser (speed and depth).
