There was a thread a little while ago on here about them, but it seems like those who have them dig them. Considering the quality of my Blacktop Jaguar, I'd say it'd be a pretty good investment

I have the wants for one in a big way, and in research have really only heard good things.

A friend of mine let me play his once. The feel is great, my only complaint is that it had a tendency to get a little muddy, although this may have had as much to do with the dudes set up than anything. I'd probably try a couple before I brought the ax down on this one.

2 things....I got it and love it!
It needs some heavier gauge strings. What do you guys reccomend.....also....would 500k pots kill the slight muddiness?

Yeeessssss. And 500K/1M (for people who are awesome) pots definitely make things a bit brighter, it could well help you out. Or just remove the tone pot completely if you don't use it.

I use D'Addarios on my baritone. The .014-.068 set.

I'll second the 500k / 1M tone pots for brightening up any guitar really. Different caps can sweeten it up a bit too. Too bad you gotta flip it already man!

i got one of these for christmas. i definitely need some bigger strings, but this thing is rad. i tend to always go for a fairly dark sound, so the lack of extreme brightness is a plus in my book.
