there's been a good bit of chat / contemplation about it over on VSE & i'm sure the elektron forum. still have an SFX-6, had an MD-UW mkII i only kept for about two weeks, personally it'd take something pretty amazingly different for me to be interested.

from their teaser pic you can tell it has an arpeggiator, two oscillators, chorus, delay & reverb. IMO the best guess yet is simply it's a monomachine mkIII.

Maybe the older Monomachine will go on sale and I can actually afford it...or maybe the GAS from the new model will eclipse everything. Either way it's dangerous.

i heard that theyve said it is a new product in their line, not an mk upgrade

all the elektron stuff is like 20% off or something on their website, and i believe that some retailers have dropped their prices as well....octatrack for just under $1000?
ive started considering grabbing a machinedrum again during all this

video is crazy and amazing and i dig that elektron keeps doing off-the-wall marketing like this (they had a similar video for the octatrack).
oh and specs for the analog-four that have been floating around, and seem pretty legit based on the video and other info:
4 synth voices.
2 Analog oscillators per voice.
2 Analog filters per voice.
1 Analog overdrive circuit per voice.
Multiple LFOs and envelopes per voice.
Elektron step sequencer with parameter locks.
Kit and Sound storage.
All new hi-quality effects.
2x dual CV/Gate outputs.
Dedicated CV/Gate and FX sequencer tracks.
2x External inputs.
2x Main outputs.
1x Headphones output.

wonder if it will be 1 track, 4 voices, or 4 tracks 1 voice per track w/ the polyphonic option to stack all the tracks?
