So, I've been digging back into Pelican again recently with a renewed autumnal fervor, and I find myself listening to their acoustic tracks A LOT. Are there bands that do this sound almost exclusively, and maybe expand on it a bit more? It really fits my mood these days.

Me and my fiance are playing both of these tracks at our wedding in April. She absolutely loves Pelican. If I can, I'd like to learn one of these and play it for her at the wedding

Thanks dude :D

I introduced her to Pelican probably about 3-4 years ago and she's been listening to them non-stop since. I felt it was only right that I try to learn one of the songs for her

AND SHES LETTING ME DO SOUND. So now my little doom rig will be blasting a wedding playlist! haha

hmm, well the dirty three aren't actually acoustic but they do kind of sound acoustic:

and other than that there is Harris Newman: http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/harris_newman/accidents_with_nature_and_each_other/
If you can get a hold of it that album is so fucking good.

Beyond that I am kind of drawing a blank :idk:
