Anybody ever played one? Thinking of getting one. Been looking for a simple 6l6 amp that isn't too expensive, and this seems like it'd be a good fit.

Well, it's got a built-in Tubescreamer.

I've never heard one. I kinda like the looks. It's at least worth looking into further. Go see if you can play one.

I have a tsa 15 since 1,5 years. I often suggested it as a good sounding and loud amp. Has pretty much bass and a lot of details. The later may be annoying for sloppy playing guys.
The built in boost is very good, ts is ok. Does its thing pretty decent. I just don't care about ts...
For 230 EUR a very good amp.
I use mine mainly for my iPad with drum Apps because of the shitton of bass.

Mmmm, that sounds good. Could you possibly tell me if it is made of plywood or particleboard?

Sorry, i have not chance to see inside without unscrewing sth. I'm right now to lazy for that. I bet it is particle board. And btw i have the head version that i run with a PA monitor speaker.

Build quality is superb. So you can't really do sth. wrong with that amp. Takes pedals also like a champ...

I've actually heard really good things about these. I played one a while ago and couldn't believe I was actually considering getting an amp made by Ibanez

Definitely looks like it has the potential to be good. Looks like it ships with a Celestion speaker, but I've never heard of the model. I'd imagine that a speaker replacement would be almost mandatory, and the tubes will probably need upgrading as well. I'm rarely a fan of the tubes that ship with speakers.

I will admit that I love the idea of an affordable, low wattage, one channel amp with a built-in Tubescreamer. Why hasn't anyone thought of this before?

EDIT: I just looked up that Celestion speaker on YouTube (the model is called Seventy80). They seem to be low-end Celestions and sound really brittle and trebley. There wasn't as much low end or midrange in them, so I'd definitely suggest factoring a speaker upgrade into the cost if you get the combo.

The TS in the 15 watter is on a separate board from the amp board. Someone could readily develop a retrofit replacement board more boutique (Klonopin?) or more perverse, like a sick fuzz.

Sorry to necro, but I have the tsa30 and its amazing! Seriously if you are considering it, you will not be disappointed. The speaker actually sounds great, as do the stock tubes!
