I'm partial to sloped and partially sloped enclosures. They kind of make my knees buckle

 I just dig the graphic and the controls... no idea what it sounds like. Maybe I watch too much science channel.

I like the graphic too, but the design is far from fancy. And the controls are on the opposite side of the universe from fancy.
But that's the good news, I far prefer a rectangular box (bonus points for top mounted jacks) than something fancy.
Like these things
Image
are fancy beyond better judgement.

Function over form everytime for me, but if you can make it pretty then hell yes!

Harumph! I guess I wasn't clear, but I don't like the Damage Control enclosures at all. I meant to hold it up as an example of ugly and a worthy recipient of our collective scorn.

Edit: and not even just ugly, but silly, overwrought, pretentious, AND it looks like it came out of my nephew's toybox.

Yeah. And as much as I like the DL4, I think the enclosure is silly

Idk I personally think unique enclosures sets companies aside. I just get the feeling that more work went into something that doesn't look like a tubescreamer.

I think MXR pedals look great. Simple colors and awesome knobs.

I guess I should have titled this fancy graphics or something, it's the standard, average enclosure... i just think it's funny that I often want pedals before even hearing them... at least for a minute haha

Yeah, I think most builders just use stock Hammond enclosures or their knock-off equivalents.

For something as small as a stompbox enclosure, I think graphics are nice, but color combinations matter more.
