What would be your ULTIMATE guitar? Sorry if this has already been covered, but I'd just like to hear an infinite budget dream guitar for everyone. Tried to make the form as extensive as possible, but if I missed anything just add it

Mine would be:

Frets: 6130, with zero fret

Bridge Pickup: WRHB
Additional Pickup: Piezo under bridge
Pickup Switch: 3 way
Pickup Switch wiring: neck/both/bridge

That's pretty much what I play now. I've got two of 'em. One almost exactly like that guy's and a 4 pickup version (which I play most). They're about perfect.

(The 3 pickup's got a Bigsby bridge on it, but I've been wondering if a Mastery will fit on 'em.)

Sweet! That's awesome. Looks like with all the switches there are plenty of options

Yeah, all the switches on the 3 pickup work, but the springs're messed up in the switches on the other one. Only a small inconvenience.

Aluminum Yamaha SBV-550 without the Jazz bridge pickup and with that fat EGC humbucker right next to the neck. I dunno what that humbucker actually sounds like, so if it isn't instant dub mode then throw a real mudbucker in there.
P middle and a Ric bridge pickup.
Three-way switch for neck/mid/bridge, one volume and toan. That's about it.
I'm satisfied with my guitars and don't really lust after new ones anymore so hopefully I'll actually have this made one day and that'll be that, the last guitar I'll ever get

I played this late 50s Duo sonic once. It was perfect. Can't say much about specifics... I don't mod my guitars so I look for the right set up out of the box. I'd just mod it so the middle pick up configuration makes a humbucker... forget if that's "in series" or "in parallel."

a all CF [or maybe wood wings..] five string flying V bass with one bucker based on two RIC bridge pickups stuck together in the Pbass spot with a rotary coil switch would be the bomb!
