No more kinder gentler Punisher. Ray Stevenson IS Frank Castle.

I always thought the entire premise of the Punisher was bland and boring.

I always liked the Punisher, ever since he first appeared in Marvel Team-Up with Spider Man. I guess he is a bit heavy-handed for some folks.

The thing that does not come out in the films is his code, that he will kill anyone who is a criminal, but once he kills an innocent, he turns himself in. He kinda did that in the new film in a way that I will not mention, as it is a bit of a spoiler, but it was not as explicitly stated as in the comics.

The other thing that has been left out is his "journal entries" that he used to make while driving around in the War Wagon.

By the same token, I always thought that Gambit was kinda weak in concept but there are some people who swear that he is the coolest. Kitty Pride, too. Jubilee. I mean, why come out with Jubilee when Dazzler was already out there?

Ahh, well, different strokes and all that.

Gambit is probably my favorite X-Man, just because his power is so cool. I mean, he makes stuff explode, does it get much better than that? His backstory never really meant much to me though.

Punisher was ok but never really got into it...Gambit is in the new wolverine movie, check it. Never heard of the guy playing him though.

I think Garth Ennis got it right with both of his approaches to the character. It's either a ridiculous cartoon, or SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Really enjoyed the MAX stuff. The Slavers? fucking brutal.

Looking forward to this movie. I loved Ray in Rome.
