Danelectro FAB

So I bought a Danelectro FAB Echo the other week. I've always thought that these looked flimsy and the fact that they were so cheap did nothing to convince me otherwise. I bought this particular pedal because I found it at an extra cheap price and figured I'd give it a shot.

It rules. It just rules. It's not flimsy at all and the sound is superb. I have it set pretty minimally on the echo and it gives me a perfect Scotty Moore. Full settings give me a perfect East Bay Ray. It's hard to go wrong.

PLEASE tell me that their other pedals are equally awesome, as it's a nice, affordable way for me to check out which effects I want/need

i had the overdrive a long time ago. it gave me wonderful amounts of feedback with my semi-hollow at the time. fairly crunchy on higher settings, too.

I've had the FAB Overdrive and FAB Metal. The Overdrive is based on the Tube Screamer with the clipping diodes set up a little differently. It sounds a little stiffer and more plasticy to my ear. The Metal is another Boss Metal Zone derivative, like the DOD Grunge, Dano Fabtone distortion, and probably ten others. Chunky metaly distortion with a screaming/squealing edge. Fun, but more than a bit ham handed.

Honestly - best chorus I've ever played!
