Maschine Bros

This thread is for all the Maschine Bros to unite and discuss this awesome piece of equipment.

Is anyone interested in the new version? From what I can tell it's mainly aesthetic upgrades, and considering anyone with V1 gets the software upgrade as well as Massive, I don't see any reason to upgrade yet (especially with that price...).

Quick question: is there an easy way to record a performance on the Maschine (as in, triggering scenes in a certain order, turning groups/instruments on and off) while performing in real time? The export audio option seems like it's only for one scene at a time.

The new version doesn't do it for me at all. Probably helps that I like black hardware to begin with and I don't need colour codes for a mere 16 pads. I got the v1 when they were blowing them out to make room for the v2 so got it at a great price.

yea, ive been messing w/ the new update on the old hardware....from what i can tell, the colors seem ....kinda gimmicky :idk:. some of the new features/fx are nice tho. and like Haki was saying, the price for a V1 is great now

LOVE THE MASCHINE...the amount of tweakability is insane

@museFTW, i havent figured out a great way to make whole songs within the maschine standalone, like that. tried scenes, few things I wasnt digging. I use it mainly inside ableton tho, so I just record out into that and build from there.

I agree...the price drop was what made me buy it in the first place.

Hmmm...I guess I need to set up Maschine so it works within Ableton.
