it gets the job done. never had to use one live. I've always preferred the Boss TU3 though.

Only got an M9 yesterday but I would say the same - it works but I prefer my ST200. M series seems a little wonky

The tuner really sucks my tone. The rest of the M9 is beautiful though.

(I don't actually have one, and this is sarcasm. If you can't tell.)

I had a Bass PodXT Live, and the tuner kinda got the job done, but always seemed juuuuuuuuuuuuust a bit unpredictably off. I used my Boss tuner instead.

I mean, it's a tuner. And for a while, I broke my tuner, so it worked. But I got a TU-3. And that is also a tuner.

Why? How could you tune more than one string at a time?

I also don't get the polytune trend. I suppose it's good for checking if you're in tune, but shouldn't you be able to tell that anyway?
The m9/13 allowing you to take an tuner off your board is just 1 of its many wonders.
