i got an ibanez ad9 and been tryin to get to know it a bit
expected a little more out of it to be honest
and wonderin what i can do to beef it up
the first repeat is real low and muffled
and it decays real quick even with all knobs at 10
so any one know their way around the internal trimpots?
mods?anyone of the builders here do them?

I was originally pretty unimpressed with mine until I screwed around with the trimpots. I ended up maxing out the delay time as far as I could without it getting super grainy lofi, as well as messed with the repeats trimmer to get it to repeat a lot more. Once you start adjusting the pots on the inside it becomes really obvious what each of them are

so i was thinkin bout the ad9
and remembered this very popular thread i started
ive had this thing for a few months now
and its become an 90% always on pedal
after messin with the internal pot(repeats)
i turned it full counter-clockwise
it does this awesome oscillation shit
that only comes through in feedback
it dissapears behind regular playing and sustain
so i can control the pitch of the feedback with
with the delay time knob
and the only time anything actually repeats
is if i play a note or chord that matches the frequency of the oscillation
does that make sense?
if not please let this thread disappear into obscurity again
in a noise situation you can get that throttle effect(vroom-vroom)
when you turn the time knob
if you turn it 0-10 real quick
its like a huge explosion
backing the repeats to 2 oclock gets me regular delay
so the pot i messed with is the one visible
when the batterys out
im guessin the other one needs the baseplate to be removed
maybe skully can tell us

Yeah I took the whole back off and while it was on took a screwdriver to it until I got the perfect sound. AKA everything cranked!

Altering the trimpots of delay and modulation pedals can really make an ehh sounding pedal into a tool for sonic destruction!!!! Max out that delay and get that baby to oscillate and go wild!!
