Girlfriend gave me a $300 pedal limit for my birthday. I've been wanting a Lunar Echo for a very long time, but is it worth it? Who's got one or got any experience with one, how awesome is it, etc. What do you use it for and how does it compare to other analog delays out there right now? Thanks all

I have one and I'd say if you've got the money to spend, get one. I absolutely looooove the way it sounds and the modulation is sick. It adds a really cool eerie vibe to the sound, and you can go all out pitch bending weirdness if you want to as well. Aaaand if you want to fuck shit up, use the take-off switch and put the modulation on warped mode.

It's pretty fun! I like the echolution a bit more, but that's got a lot to do with the reverse delay ya ya ya

I used to have one and it was pretty rad.
I only got rid of it because I really don't use delay that much.
Also, PM'd with a Pro Tip.

Max still has a couple of weeks until his B-day so he couldn't cash in on the Pro Tip.
PGS has Lunar Echo's in stock with a $50 off code (ROCK50).

Dude, do it. I got to try a fellow forumite's, and it was beautiful. Just very well dialed in. Everything sat so nicely in the mix. I'm happy with my Flashback for most uses, but if I had the spare cash laying around, I would most definitely get a Lunar Echo.

It does look pretty awesome. Although I like a little longer of delay times.

It's definitely worth the $300, plus if you get it new it'll come with the effects loop (requires a stereo ABY cable). The craziness of this pedal is unmatched, from the wrecked mode modulation to the take-off switch. Though the straight up analog/tape delay sounds are great as well. Because of the Lunar Echo I've never once cared for that El Cappuccino pedal. Plus it sounds fucking amazing with fuzz running into it.
There is no reason not to get it. Production is limited enough that even if there's something wrong with you and you want to sell it you easily can at a minimal loss.

Your thoughts on a comparison to the Moog 104M?

Moog has longer delay available and the modulation is crazyer... but how would you compare the sound of both?
