Yeah, I've heard that's a really good overdrive.

The Klon is used by nearly everyone as a clean boost.
The Tremolessence can be used as a clean boost (with an awesome tone control). It can also be used for tremolo.

True, but you can also use the Klon as a tremolo. Just stomp on the switch as fast or slow as you'd like.

Tbh it's the one Dr s pedal I thought I wouldn't own. I'm not a big modulation guy and if I do use it I like it quite subtle. So when I'd checked out the vids from pgs etc I found it a bit extreme for my tastes.
I then found a vid the other night by threechordscholar that demonstrates the subtler side of the pedal. And I thought bloody hell that sounds nice!
I set up my blues junior clean and use pedals for od. I'm happy with the two elements and Timmy and have been wondering for a bit if I would see a benefit of using the klon as well. I don't think I would so I cancelled my place in the pre order cue and ordered a trem.
I know it seems an odd swap but there ya go!

No, I think it's fine. You did good.
If you decide you really want one of those new Klons, I think you'll be able to grab a used one when everybody starts unloading 'em after that initial feeding frenzy.

That made me LOL a lot harder than it probably should have.

I actually can't really take credit for that:

Haha yeah that's cool!
Well Andy, I thank you very much again and I hope you enjoy the Trem!
I'd really like a Klon too though, just really curious about them and as a bit of a collector I can't help but want an old one... Tanya loves going to garage sales all summer and I tell her every time to watch for a gold centaur Klon.
That's cool you have a Blues Jr. too, Andy, I really love mine. It's my favourite sounding of all my amps actually, I really dig its vibe. I did some of the Bill M mods like change the tone stack so you can dial the mids to ground, changed the power supply caps, changed the lead dress inside the chassis to stop high freq oscillation, put in a standby switch, put in a proper jewel bezel... it's a really great little amp that doesn't receive the respect it deserves, in my opinion.

Garage sale season is pretty much over now... no centaur Klon again this year. *Charlie Brown music* *looks down and kicks a rock*
