Reverb pedz

So I know we've had a lot of discussion on this but I am le tired and I don't feel like searching.
Anyways.. I'm looking for a verb to give me some ambient and gazey type sounds. I'm not really into the spring reverb sound. I like digital reverb whether it sounds like a cave or slightly grainy I can dig it. Modulated verb would be cool.
Things I don't like.. Any kind of harshness in the high end. Things that can't do a really long decay. Extreme muddiness. Rack units. Shit that fucks with my volume level (or can't handle a large volume boost).
I also would like to keep it as affordable as possible. Should I just grab an RV-5? I really like what I hear from the RV-3 but I've already got a Maxon AD-9 Pro and an El Capistan so I'm pretty set with delay. Oh yeah and also it will probably be abused heavily so it has to be really solid.
Thanks!

Check out a used super moon? Or a wet?
Also, I'm gonna give the context verb a try. RRR is awesome and fits all of your criteria minus the lonnng decay.

The RV-5 is a decent pedal. Though the modulated verb is the only thing really worth writing home about.

The Muza ambience knocked the RV-3 off my board...

Hmm..
The Supermoon doesn't really interest me for whatever reason. I forgot about the Wet. Is it really that great?
Captain Wampum what do you use your RV-3 for? What do you love/not love about it? I'm leaning pretty hard towards one of the Boss verbs or an RRR. Just need some more info to make a decision
Sylnau that's one sound I have never liked.
Sonidero I don't want to always have delay with my verb. I know I can turn the delay time and repeats down but something about that bothers me

Yeah I just had to throw that out there cause everyone's always whining about the El Cap's second modes...
What about a T.C. Hall of Fame???

what about the hardwire supernatural?? i've not tried it, but it seems geared towards ambient textures and also has modulated reverberation.

The older Tech 21 Boost R.V.B does everything you want except modulation and can be had for under $100.
The newest one has modulation but is ugly as fuck and will cost you double.
The Wet is awesome for ambiance and has the "Pedal Customizer" that allows you to get modulation and
other versions of verb. You can even customize it to the Chroma Chorus if you want.
They rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they go for the same as a new one.
The Iron Ether Nimbus is pretty badass too. Can get really long and ambient but no modulation.
The RRR doesn't go super long but sounds really good and has a Leslie speaker setting that is really nice
for some warbly modulation.
Another one you might want to look at is the EQD Ghost Echo. Super ambient and now that the smaller ones
are out, the big one should be a little cheaper.

Boost RVB is awesome and can dark and feedback and do all sorts of sick stuff
RRR is amazing as well,
If I could only keep one verb it might be my RV5 it just seems to hang on to notes for ever and push pedals well, I run it in front of my Bukowski distortion all the time and it creates monstrous feedback
and here is a demo of all three on at once!
because that is critical
in front is a one knob fuzz I built[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/hbombgraphics/all-verbs-on[/soundcloud]
