Hello !
i'm looking for a bass cab ( 1x15 ,2x10 or 4x10 not bigger) for my peavey 5150 I to play Stoner riffs ( Kyuss, Down, Sabbath style C tuning with baritone guitar...) I also use a 5150 212 combo to complete harmonic spectrum.
Can you help me please ?
Budget al least 600 $ ( new or used ).
Many thanks

A 1x15 would give you some nice bottom end to pair with the 2x12. I've dealt with Verellen who was nice, heard pretty good things about Emperor, and I'm really interested in Hex Cabs

And a 2x10 ? Kustom Deep End 210h for example ... would be useless in terms of pressure?
usually I run with drZ powerbrake to tame the 5150 amount of volume ... my biggest doubt is about the power from the head that 1x15 and 4x10 should require to create fat bottom .
So my idea to move to 2x10s , but i've never tried to play with them ...

I've never personally been a fan of 10" speakers. If you're using a powerbrake to tame volume, I'm thinking getting another cab isn't going to help your volume situation

A Mesa 1x15 or 2x15 will bring the heavy and bring it HARD. For guitar, just disconnect the tweeter.

You could also look at a bass 2x12.

I have also a Genz Benz 2x12 G flex , good in low freq but ... Might be better a 2x10 bass cab in low freq ? Here in Italy there's no big club where You can play loud ... 2x12 and 2x15 bass cab I think would be hard to push them to the right volume to head a tight attack ... but I've never use a bass cab so mine are only assumptions ...
And BUgera/Behringer 2x10 ... really low quality ? And Chinese 210 Ampeg Stv ?
