Good Priced, High Quality Paint Job/Refinish

Any suggestions on where to get a decent price, good quality paint job? I have googled a bit, I just was wanting some real recomendations. I am wanting to have a bass painted Candy Tangerine (body and headstock).
I would like to keep the price around $300 or I guess (less would be cool).
Anybody ever just use an automobile painting place?
