Anyone else close to the Southern California fire areas? The closest one is a few miles away, so it's a little close for comfort, but we're not in any danger (for now). They were closer last year. However, my friend's house burned down yesterday. I guess he had 20 minutes to get out. In addition to the things he considered important, he was able to take out the music gear that didn't belong to him. Most of his own gear is just ashes now.
