The ring modulator makes it really confusing for me because it's at different settings in 1 and 2

No, I was jus working on my board...
This poll was silly in fact... just after I posted it I've already found a better sound and some new pedal placement.
The poll is not over... but since the winner is neither of 1 or 2 I can say what it is.
This will be part of my setup:
Four Eyes > Randy > Demo Tape Fuzz > Superdelay
Randy > Demo Tape Fuzz for my almost clean ring mod tone
Four Eyes > Randy for fuzzy ring mod tone.
