So my guitarist/I got pissed off about not having a drummer

So he played keyboard drums and some conglomeration of stuff from across the practice space (I very sadly don't own a bass drum. :( ) and we recorded some improvisings. I played bass and assorted fuzzery.

But the problem is I am liking this a bit more than the previous musical direction xD

Your listenings and thoughts would be appreciated! (Lo-Fi diy experimental hate love required)

I liked the first 3 minutes and 55 seconds of the second song, after that it was too amorphous for me.

Thanks for listening gaize.

And amorphous is a criticism I enjoy. From my perspective I'm kind of trying to create songs out of waves of noise and effectery and the toans of my new stereo set up- use feedback and texture to make songs out of a solo bass track. Like I dont want it to seem like just "noise" ever, but rather that theres some sort of harmonic song structure buried in all of it. I do have a thing for the ampcrankedwithinaninchofitslife sound, though of course.

I'll probably select bits and make them into somethings a bit more fleshed out and rerecord. With bass drum. And preferably an actual drummer.

It was all cool though. I also really like the contrast between very quiet and very loud, if you did some really dynamic stuff in the latter half of the second song I think that would contribute well to the music, listen to interstellar overdrive.
