The first two tracks feature lead guitar by ILF's own Magiclawnchair and Masked Elwood respectively. Three of the tracks are highly mutated remixes/reinterpretations of "Wizards Can Wait" from the last album, Everything Odder Than Everything Else. And the song "Repetepetition" is pretty much built around the CRAZY Morley Deluxe Phaser I bought off Bigchiefbc a while back. Man, I love that thing.

Anyhow, yeah. Just a little something to string along the four people who actually enjoy this stuff until the next album comes out.

Well, his part was recorded a few months ago... But knowing MLC, he's got SOMETHING going on up his sleeve...

I loved that the song with Carrot opened with 'Alright!' so perfect. There's something soothing about that followed with the classic 'here we have ...' I miss it.

The other stuff isn't bad at all either! How's that full length coming along?

Thanks man! Yeah, when I heard him say that, and go "Whoa whoa" when the Fuzzhuggasaurus started oscillating wildly, I knew I had to keep that in.

The full length is great (well, I mean, progress is great. I like the album, but we'll see if anyone else thinks of it as "great") - right now, it's clocking in at 15 songs. I think the music is basically done, but two of them feel like they need vocals, so I'm sort of working on that now. We'll see how it pans out. Hopefully it'll all be done and up by late fall maybe? I try not to stress too much about deadlines with this stuff (although I always want it to be done sooner than later). Most of the tracks are even more "structured" and "song-like" than the last album, but I've kept plenty of audio weirdness in there as well. Some fuzzy stuff, some uber-modulated stuff, some droney stuff, some rock-out stuff. It'll be interesting to see what people think.

Listening to the new mixes, getting stoked to put the new album together. Hopefully I'll get some time this early September to really hash out any issues.
