Tell me about the Malekko Wolfetone Helium

What you do think about this pedal? I know the vast majority of you probably wouldn't use it for the same functions I would, but I would still like to hear your opinions on it.
I would put it after my Boss Harmonist and before my overdrives and compressor in order to make my basic tone a bit more "full." Can the octave be blended in so that it is subtle and makes the tone more "complex," instead of just adding a more noticable and overpowering effect? Also is the dirt attatched to the octave transparent, or is it quite fuzzy?

From what I've heard its not very subtle, although I will admit I've not watched many videos on it. It sounds like you just want a clean octave to fatten up, sans the fuzz....

Have you looked into an Upper? Sounds like it might be right up your alley.

I haven't played it personally but by the look and sound of the Helium, it sounds like what you're looking for. The mix knob that mixes between the distortion and the octavia functions. With the two three-way switches and texture knob, I'd think finding the right texture to thicken up your sound would be easy to achieve. And it sounds like the dirt attached to the octavia is more transparent rather than fuzzy to my ears.

I haven't found many clips of it, but I will look into it. How well does it work with chords? And how does it sound on lower settings?

Chords sound good to me...

And you can blend the octave completely out, so you know, it can be subtle. You can put your dirt in the loop and whammy! Fuller basic tone.

There is also the super puzzle. That thing can be blended or super clangy.

I think it's a fuzz pedal with the mix knob mixing in the upper octave, also in turn, taking out some of the lows. And with the octave on, if it's like other octave fuzzes I've seen, it's probably really glitchy with polyphony when the octave is mixed in.
