Skully was actually about a week earlier but we saved on shipping. But whatever, me'n Uni are used to it. All the other millions of germans work for the customs office anyway.
I only got to play them for very short. Like 5 minutes literally. So I just hooked them up Super Puzzle into Creepy OD and dimed everything. Adjusted the volume on the amp to like 0.1 and I was in fart sound heaven. I have found an old camcorder and someone at work gave me a camera stand so as soon as I find a charger for the camcorder I will record some demos. Also I am off work tomorrow and the weather is supposed to be meh. So basically I will go and buy a charger and then start the demo action...
Do I need to mention the Pastis didn't end up like I was hoping it would?

There will be other opportunities. And the Pastis was great! Best drink for the summer. Well, along with beer (obviously) and white wine with sparkling water. A mutual friend was there and kind of destroying what could have been, but yeah. Definitely not the last time I'll see this girl. And another thing that was bugging me is the impending doom of meeting my ex and her lawyer for divorce negotiations tomorrow and today I got the hugest sunburn ever. Not the best premise to turn the pastis drinking into some hanky-panky.

Seem that it's impossible to find a charger for that camcorder. Grrrr.
Well, anyway, I have played them both SP into OD850 and on their own and there are some sweet sounds in these boxes. The OD850 is a bit too tame when it's not boosted especially compared to the mad farts you get when the SP blasts it open. I have no idea what control does what on the SP honestly, but until now I could do whatever I want and it sounded ballin'. right now I have everything turned all the way down, octave engaged and the bottom knob in the middle (clean blend I think) dimed. That makes it sound like a nasty boost. Just a little dirt but actually more of a grainy, hairy kind of sound. It's really hard to describe, but it is a little like my fave setting on the Demo Tape Fuzz only nastier. You know, that kind of sound that makes your individual strings stand out more, and everything gets all Post-Punk sounding. I haven't tried it with single coils yet, but I guess that this will sound absolutely awesome if I run my Duosonic through there. The Creepy is a really good fuzz, but if I'd compare them directly to find which one I like better (and I will have to sell something after the spending spree of this month) the SP clearly takes the cup. No competition.
