Any owners here? I just listened to some clips and it sounds pretty amazing. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need another fuzz pedal but my addiction says otherwise.

I dug it, but it's pretty insta-grunge, IMO.

TFR sounds great on bass, but with the guit I like the Box Of War. I might have to try The Caprid some time soon.

Does the box of war have a more open feel?

My band uses the TFR for bass and it's great. Grindy overfuzz/fuzzdrive if you will.

If I were choosing a Muff by W&C for guitar, though, it would be the Tri-Pie.

Ok that makes sense. It was a strange way to describe a muff.

Sometimes it occurs to me that guitarists describe things in really esoteric terms.

I do recommand the TFR.
Coming from a Hoof, I bought both TFR and Tri-Pie.
I really dig one and the other but couldn't justify to keep both. I kept the TFR, which is more what I was after at this time (Black Keys flavour vs Gilmourish things with the Tri-Pie).
I don't like their WIB enclosure... but I wish I could give the Caprid a try (but it is so expensive!)
I'm totally enthusiast about Wren and Cuff.
